There was a Fun Run held on Sunday afternoon for Future Runnin’ Rocks on the RIHS.

 

Kindergarten - 5th grade students from various grade schools in the district had fun running a half-mile or a mile courses around Rock Island High School. Each participant also received a FUTURE RUNNIN ROCK t-shirt.

 

"We’re hoping this becomes an annual event," said RIHS Cross Country Coach Jarrin Williams. "We want to instill a love of running in the younger students and give them a positive experience about the sport."
