Rock Island boys’ and girls’ swimming compete in the Rocky Pool opened in 1959.

The 6-lane pool facility features balcony seating for 345, a state of the art animated score/message board,  starting blocks and touch pad timing at both ends of the pool.

The Rock Island Pool has been the frequent site of the Illinois High School Association’s Boys’ and Girls’ State Sectional Swimming Meet.
