Rock Island High School Football is getting ready to kick off its 125th season in celebratory fashion. There are many events and surprises planned throughout the 2024 football campaign.
On Wednesday, August 14th, the football team revealed the first of those tributes that will help start this milestone season on a nostalgic note.
In honor of its anniversary, the team is bringing back their traditional gold pants. From 1939 to 2013, every team has worn gold pants. This year, the Rocks are returning in gold.
