The Rock Island Rocks Basketball team upset the Normal West Wildcats, 65-57 to win the Class 4A Rock Island Regional at the Friday, March 2 game in the Rock Island Fieldhouse.

 

The victory takes the Rock Island Rock Island Rocks to the Pekin Sectional and they will play WB6 rival Moline. The game will be on Tuesday, March 6 at Pekin High School at 7:00 p.m. 

 

A student Fan Bus, sponsored by the RIHS Student Senate, will be going to the game on Tuesday and there are 52 seats available. Students can sign up in the Athletic Office Monday morning. There is no cost to students to ride the bus, and the RIHS Student Senate will also cover the cost of the ticket to the game.
