The Development Fund (through the Rock Island High School Athletic office) is available to Rock Island-Milan Schools and supports many classroom and extracurricular programs.

 

The Campaign for Excellence supports the Development Fund. During the 2018-2019 school year, over $45,000 in grants were approved for many classrooms and programs in RIMSD #41:

• Uniforms for the district’s Special Olympic Basketball Team 
• Contribution to Frances Willard’s playground project 
• Two new scoreboards for Washington Jr. High gym 
• Alternative seating and desk project for new Intervention Room at RIHS 
• Financially supported the new RIHS study table project 
• Purchased industrial fans for high school gyms areas for PE classes
